1- الاحتباس الحراري :
مما يسببه من ارتفاع في درجات حرارة الأرض ،
وسبب ذلك التلوث بكافة أنواعه سببت ارتفاع مفاجئ في درجات الحرارة ، وهو ما يسمى بمصطلح ارتفاع درجات الحرارة
بشكل غير طبيعي أو معتاد ، وهذا الارتفاع في درجات الحرارة يؤدي إلى تغير في بعض
الظواهر الطبيعية ، التي يمكن أن تشكل خطر كارثي ، مثال

كمية من الثلوج في القطبين الجنوبي والشمالي ، والذي سبب ارتفاع في منسوب المحيطات والبحار
) ، مثال آخر ( ما نلاحظه من أن فترة
الشتاء أصبحت قصيرة مقارنة بالعقود السابقة ، وظهور الأعاصير في بعض الأماكن من العالم مثل ظاهرة (
تسونامي ) مما سبب غرقا في بعض المناطق الساحلية
) .

2- الغازات التي تطلقها عوادم السيارات والمركبات :
حيث تنطلق هذه
الغازات في الجو مما يسبب في تلوث الهواء ، حيث تتكون هذه الغازات من أول أكسيد
الكربون( CO)
ومن أكاسيد النيتروجين N0x الضارة والسامة ،وما تسببه من أمطار حمضية ، حيث كانت هذه الغازات سببا في الاحتباس
الحراري ،وظهور العديد من الأمراض الخطيرة مثل الأمراضالتنفسية الحادة ، وتدهور الصحة
العامة للإنسان والكائنات المحيطة ، وكذلك
غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون ( CO2 )
الذي يزيد من درجة حرارة الجو ما يسمى(ظاهرة الانحباس الحراري ) (greenhouse effect) . وكلما كان الوضع الميكانيكي لهذه المركبات والسيارات
سيء كلما أطلقت نسبا أكبر من الغازات الضارة ومركبات الرصاص ، بحيث تزيد من
مقدار التلوث أضعاف المركبات والسيارات
التي تكون بحالة جيدة .
حيث هذه المركبات السامة تسبب ظهور
الأمراض العصبية والالتهابات المختلفة في العيون والجهاز التنفسي وحتى الجهاز
الهضمي.
3- مداخن المصانع
حيث تطلق المصانع من خلال مداخنها الكثير من الغازات السامة في الجو ، وهذه الغازات أيضا تحتوي على نسب من CO2 غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون ، وأكاسيد النيتروجين والكربون ، واكاسيد الكبريت ، وهذه كلها تسبب مخاطر على الإنسان والبيئة والكائنات الحية الأخرى ، العديد من الأمراض العصبية والتنفسية كأمراض الربو ، والتهابات الجهاز التنفسي ، وما تسببه من خطر على طبقة الأوزون مما يسبب الأمراض السرطانية ،وتلوث الماء بالأمطار الحمضية .فيجب أن يكون هناك رقابة صارمة على المداخن في المصانع ، بحيث يتم فحص المداخن وأخذ عينات من الهواء لفحصها ، وضع فلاتر على المداخن للتقليل من الغازات السامة المنبعثة منها .
4- بناء المصانع في أماكن خضراء ومخلفات المصانع:
مما يسبب تدميرا للمساحات الخضراء، وتلويثا للأنهار ، حيث يجب عند بناء مصنع أن تكون البيئة هي الأولوية في الاعتبار ، حيث النفايات الصناعية الناتجة تدمر البيئة وتلوثها ، ومن النفايات الصناعية الخطيرة : النفايات التي لا يمكن إعادة تدويرها
وكذلك مركبات صعب الاستفادة منها مثل مركبات السيانيد والرصاص والتي من الصعوبة تحللها ، وهناك النفايات السائلة مثل النفايات النفطية ، التي تصرفها المصانع في مياه الأنهار والبحار مما يلوث الحياة المائية .
فيجب أن يكون هناك اشتراطات صارمة قبل بناء أي مصنع يلوث البيئة ، وان تكون رقابة ومتابعة لهذه المصانع بشكل مستمر .
5- المحطات والتجارب النووية التي تدمر التربة وتلوث الهواء:
حيث سببت هذه التجارب والمحطات النووية الأثر السلبي على الإنسان والبيئة ، والخطورة الكبيرة اتساع انتشارها في البيئة التي تلوثها ، حيث مشكلة هذه المخلفات الإشعاعية أنها تتطاير في الهواء وتحملها ذرات الغبار وبخار الماء ، فتتسرب إلى التربة والمياه ، ونلوث المياه السطحية والجوفية، بحيث تبقى لفترات طويلة جدا ، بحيث تسبب الأورام السرطانية مثل سرطان الجلد ، وأمراض العيون ، والتشوهات الخلقية للأطفال عند الولادة .
6- استخدام المبيدات الحشرية بشكل مفرط يسبب تلوث البيئة
حيث سبب الاستخدام المبالغ فيه لهذه المبيدات مشاكل سمية كبيرة وخطيرة ، وما سببته من ضرر بالغ على الإنسان والحيوانات والطيور ، حتى أنها قتلت الحشرات المفيدة كالنحل ، وقضت على الطفيليات المفيدة ، مما تسبب في إحداث خلل في التوازن البيئي ، وزيادة مشكلة الآفات بالقضاء على الحشرات والكائنات المفيدة للنباتات والبيئة ، حيث سببت هذه المبيدات أضرار على صحة الإنسان ، إما أضرار تنفسية والتهابات تنفسية حادة نتيجة الاستنشاق المباشر للغازات ، أو أن تصل إلى الدم عن طريق الجهاز الهضمي او اللمس المباشر مما يسبب أمراض الفشل الكلوي والسرطانات .
لذلك يجب أن يكون هناك برامج توعوية وإرشادية عن طرق استخدام المبيدات الحشرية ومواعيد الرش .
7- تلوث شواطئ البحار والأنهار بالملوثات البلاستيكية
